The sixth sense

There's a saying going around that women have a sixth sense, which scientists say it's mainly because the mother always needs to have a certain awareness towards her children. Now, I wonder if that's true. If women did have this sixth sense, could it also be used for other purposes, like detecting warnings in case a loved one meets with an accident, the so called "bad feeling" about a certain situation. I've had my share of bad feelings, but none of them turned to be true and my worries have been for nothing, but one can always wonder. For example, last night I had a very weird dream, I can't really call it a nightmare, but truth is it wasn't a pleasant one either, now the peculiar part of this dream was that it turned out to be like an unfolding story and even though I woke up several times, during the night, to use the bathroom or to drink water, every time I went back to sleep, the dream continued. This doesn't usually happen to me.

Now what set me off was the fact that the dream took place in a very fancy hotel/restaurant called Ramada where my hubby will go tomorrow. The dream took place in an underground floor (which turns out it actually exists) where the kitchen was. We were being watched, followed and chased (my husband and I) by something evil, maybe even alien to this planet or the human world. I don't really recall more facts, but all in all it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Right now, what scares me the most is the fact that I’m wondering if this is some kind of a sign or a warning and should I do something about it?! My husband is going there alone and it kind of makes me nervous, but I think I’m going to trust whatever happens to the hands of my "helpers" and wish for the best. Sometimes these kinds of dreams are a result of stress and depression, something I’ve been dealing with these last few weeks, so something inside my head is telling me not to worry. Even so, sometimes we can only close our eyes and hope for the best.

The good times and the bad times

Sometimes people forget to smile and be thankful for what they have and start thinking unnecessary things like: why does this happen to me? why am I like this? and so on and so forth. We should be thankful for everything we currently have in our lives, both the good and the bad moments because they make us what we are. We are not the only ones in this world going through good and bad times so as long as you remember you are not alone in your sufferings, please smile. If you can't right now, I will smile for you today, but then tomorrow you have to do your best to make your life worthwhile by yourself.

I believe that as long as there are other people who experience you pain and enduring it with a brave face and a bright smile, you should at least raise your head and do what you can. I'm sure if you keep on facing life bravely with a smile on your lips, you will never be alone, someone, one day, will hold your hand and your head up through harsh times, just like you will do the same.
